The Requirements
To be a good fit for this opportunity, you will have- At least five years of experience supporting high level professionals in human resources.

- An approachable demeanor and a service orientation; because we support Corporate, you'll need to be comfortable if, for example, a Vice President approaches you with a question about benefits.
- A detail, deadline and customer service orientation with the ability to integrate information to accurately understand and apply it to an overall procedure and / or process.
The Role
You will support three HR leaders in our corporate office. While this role will involve a wide variety of administrative support, you will be coming on board just as we are completing implementation of a new recruiting function. We expect the employee population to grow by 20% over the next three years. in anticipation of having to hire, onboard, and develop these employees, the team is creating a Center of Excellence for HR Planning, Talent Acquisition, Employee Development and Organizational Change Management.In your first months you'll spend a significant amount of time performing administrative duties specifically related to recruiting, including:

- Maintaining and inputting data and running reports.
- Coordinating the placement of internal postings.
- Organizing and performing tasks related to recruitment administration, ensuring all relevant information for candidates and new employees is recorded and retained.
- Providing systems support and coordination with recruiting process outsourcing (RPO) and temporary labor vendors.
- Scheduling and coordinating interviews for job candidates including coordinating travel arrangements, escorting them to interviews and processing candidates' expenses for reimbursement.
- Coordinating new hire drug testing and background checks to support clearance for new hire processing.
- Preparing standardized reports, maintaining confidential records, and disseminating information to corporate clients following established procedures.
- Tracking and maintaining performance appraisals.
- Handling a variety of administrative duties for the HR leaders and staff including PowerPoint presentations, mail, systems administration and ERP reporting.
- Cross-training with other HR Administrative Assistants to ensure overall coverage of administrative needs of the HR organization.
- Managing the calendar, appointments and point of contact for the three HR leaders.

Keys to Success
The HR leaders you'll support "wear many hats," and you'll need to be highly organized and able to handle a high volume of activity. In many ways you will be the conduit to connect internal and external contacts to the right person in HR to answer questions. At the same time, we're looking for an individual with a real thirst for mastering knowledge about our corporation and the HR department, so that you will be able to manage communications and answer many questions without transferring a caller.You also will need to take a proactive approach to developing a network of resources within the organization, and be driven to acquire the know-how to get things done and become a "go-to" person in the HR department. Because we support employees around the world, once or twice a month you may need to work early in the morning or later in the evening in order to communicate with contacts in European and Asian time zones; some of this work can be done from home. To excel in this role you will be a quick learner who takes initiative and isn't afraid to ask questions, and you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment in which attention to details and metrics are a must.
